Up, down, up, down. Eli wondered if Cornelius had been smart enough to just go to sleep...

All of the girls laughed and talked about how handsome Cornelius was. He smiled to them and laughed when he should have, but he was more concerned for Eli. 'Captain...' Corenelius may have acted drunk, but no amount of alcohol could get him drunk, its his love for life that he was always drunk on. "Oi ladies! Where ya think she went eh?"

Knowing him he probably didn't, she thought as she looked up to the starry sky.

After stumbling for a while they passed by a child's park and out of the corner of his eye, Cornelius spotted her. "Captain!!!!" The ladies seemed not to notice her and continued swooning over him. "Now now, it's time to leave me with my Captain." They all looked at her and laughed, "Come on now, you'd have more fun with us!" Cornelius took a swig from his bottle and pushed them off and stumbled towards Captain, "Leave me..." They all turned sour and left complaining of all the flirting that they had to do to get nothing.

Cornelius head towards Captain and slid down the swing's poles and rested his arm on one raised knee, taking another long drink. "Hello there Captain," he held out the bottle, "Want a drink?"

Eli rolled her eyes and stopped the swing with her heels. She took the bottle from him, not really to drink it but to remove it from Conelius' presence.

Cornelius made a face, and stared out across the empty street. Everyone was probably at the inn they were staying in, having a blast. He leaned his head on the pole, to look at the dark sky. "I wonder what timw it is..."

If Eli was able to speak she'd state the obvious, late. Instead she just gestured to the starry sky and then back in the direction of the inn. She then folded her hands next to her cheek to make a sleeping motion before waving for him to follow her back to the inn.

"Ah yes." Cornelius stumbled up and followed Eli close on her heels. When they returned to the inn, it was a different round of girls at the door and the place was starting to loose its rowdiness. When they reached their room Cornelius flopped down onto the bed and stared up at Eli. "Night?"

Eli was quick to leave come morning, dragging Cornelius along with her. She was almost out the door when her eyes caught a poster being tacked onto the bulletin board. The picture looked exactly like the pirate that had taken the treasure they'd tried to steal! Wide eyed, Eli pointed to the poster while tapping Cornelius.

Still groggy from an early wake, Cornelius managed to forcus his attention on the poster. It looked to be a wanted sign and Eli was pointing at it excitedly, "Ya, it's that dude from before. What about it?" He wasn't sure if she was just pointing it out (which Eli never points out the obvious) or she was trying to say that it'd be a cool idea to get back what was rightfully theirs.

Eli sighed in exasperation before rolling her eyes and making a motion to cut her throat with her hand. Kill the man, take his treasure, and then collect the reward.

Cornelius rubbed the remaining sleep out of his eyes as he grabbed the paper and folded it to fit in his inner vest pocket, "Kay Eli, got it. Let's ascertain his current location...after my morning drink that is." Cornelius raced down the stairs to the bar and began ordering enough rum to last them two weeks, 'Oh this will be great!'

Stumped as to the man's location, Eli decided that they might as well return to the ruins from yesterday and see what they could find. Standing by the controls she tried to remember the coordinates to the location through the slightly hungover haze she was in.
